Daily Skincare – Tips For You
Having healthy-looking, glowing, and youthful skin can make a person feel ten times better about themselves, even during some troubling times. Make-up is, of course, a great tool to improve your attractiveness or boost your confidence, but it may not be enough if you don’t take proper care of your skin. Especially today, during the pandemic, we can devote more time to things that are beneficial and pleasurable.
Consistency is key – daily skincare
If you don't already know it, nothing in life comes to you overnight. Everything valuable has to be earned. Perfect skin is no exception. If you want your skin to be radiant and, above all, for effect to last for years to come, you need to dedicate yourself to skincare every day. It does not mean applying too much product or using it too often, but rather systematically, at the right intervals, depending on its type and ingredients.
Know your needs
You can never create a perfect skincare routine for yourself if you’re not aware of your skin type and its needs. Start by doing some tests online to determine whether your skin is dry, normal, oily, or any other type there is.
- If your results match the first option, remember about frequent moisturizing (for example with these products).
- If your skin is damaged and gray, you may want to invest in a serum that would soothe it and brighten your dark spots.
- In case of any problems with acne, remember to exfoliate your skin with the right product to get rid of dead cells and blackheads. Don’t overdo it, though! This step should be included in your routine no more than two times a week.
- Regardless of your skin type, don’t forget to wash your face in the morning and before bed. The key to success may lie in the so-called double-cleansing, which means using a make-up remover first (even if you didn’t wear any make-up that day) and then washing your face.
- If you’re comfortable enough, you can try reducing your make-up to a minimum. Try using BB or CC creams instead of heavy foundations. They are light-weight, clean, and allow your skin to breathe during the day.
- And last but not least – never skip your sunscreen!
