Whole Japanese cherry blossoms from Kanagawa prefecture. 
Sakura cherry blossoms are preserved after harvesting in salt and ume plum vinegar, thanks to which they retain their natural pink color and stay fresh for a long time. The flowers are edible and have a strong, natural pink color that looks beautiful as a decoration for your baked goods!

Traditionally, pickled sakura is used to make Sakura tea during ceremonies such as weddings. Now Sakura has found its way into many other Japanese and Western recipes; from Sakura onigiri to Sakura cookies, ice cream, smoothies, and cakes!

Instructions:

To easily remove most of the salt, soak the flowers in a large bowl of water for up to an hour, then let them dry on a clean towel.
